Dr.-Ing. Alina Maas was awarded the Victor Rizkallah Foundation Prize on October 16, 2020 for her dissertation, completed this spring at the IPI, entitled /Classification of multi-temporal remote sensing data using partly incorrect topographic data/. In this thesis she has demonstrated a remarkable level of scientific research, both in theory and in terms of the practical results achieved. The work was supervised by Prof. Franz Rottensteiner. The award ceremony took place in the horse stables, the new event centre of the university, unfortunately only on a small scale due to the given circumstances.
