Karl Kraus Young author award for former IPI student

 

The Karl Kraus young author award, which is jointly presented by the photogrammetric societies of Germany, Switzerland and Austria will go to Dipl.-Ing. Matthias Roland, who graduated from Leibniz Universtät Hannover last year with a M.Sc. thesis entitled "Photogrammetrische Auswertung der Aggregatbewegung im Sicherheitsversuch aus einer Fotogrube". The thesis was carried out in conjunction with the Volkswagen AG, Wolfsburg and was supervised at IPI by Dr. Manfred Wiggenhagen. The price will be handed over during this year’s annual meeting of the German Society for Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Geoinformation (DGPF) in Oldenburg in April 23, 2008.
