Talbert Abrams Award - IPI authors honoured for the two best papers in 2009

The Talbert Abrams Award 2010 of the ASPRS (American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing) for the best paper published in Photogrammetric Engineering & Remote Sensing during 2009 was awarded to Karsten Raguse and Christian Heipke for their article Synchronization of Image Sequences - A Photogrammetric Method".

IPI members also contributed to the paper which came second. Ralph Schmidt and Christian Heipke are among the team of co-authors of the paper "Derivation and Validation of High-Resolution Digital Terrain Models from Mars Express HRSC Data, which won the First Honorable Mention of the Talbert Abrams Price 2009.

Both awards will be presented during the ASPRS Annual Convention in San Diego in April 2010.
