Dr.-Ing. Max Mehltretter from the Institute of Photogrammetry and GeoInformation, Leibniz Universität Hannover, was awarded the Victor Rizkallah-Foundation Prize on October 14, 2022 for his dissertation, completed in September 2021, entitled „Uncertainty Estimation for Dense Stereo Matching using Bayesian Deep Learning“. In this thesis he demonstrated a remarkable level of scientific research, both in theory and in terms of the practical results achieved.
