As part of the Geodetic Colloquium, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geodetic Science bid farewell to Prof. Dr.-Ing. Winrich Voß on 24 October 2023. Voß had been professor of land and property management at the Geodetic Institute since 2006.

Numerous colleagues, employees, students and companions took part in the ceremony both in person and online. In his speech, Dean Prof. Dr.-Ing. Prof. Dr rer. hort. Christina von Haaren, Vice President of LUH for International Affairs and Sustainability, spoke about the academic focus and joint research activities, particularly at the Leibniz Research Centre TRUST ("Spatial Transformation - Future for Urban and Rural Areas"), of which Prof. Voß had been the board spokesperson since 2016.

Three specialist lectures highlighted various current aspects of land management. During the event, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Voß has been an active member and reviewer in numerous scientific societies and committees for many years.
